The most exciting part of travelling is having the opportunity to try local foods as well. Since we are already in the Ilocos Region of the Philippines, Ilocos Empanada shouldn’t be missed!

Here’s the wrapper (made out of rice flour with orange coloring)
Filling: Grated papaya (sauted in onion and garlic?)
Add egg and vigan longganisa (which I wasn’t able to take picture :c)
Ilocos Empanada tastes better with vinegar on the side 🙂
